Regas Paper Log

I swoon, you swoon

Regas Studio Fireplace

We all swoon to see the Regas studio fireplace featured on EyeSwoon, the talented Athena Calderone’s lifestyle blog. You know you’re in good company when a turquoise Mary tops the photo set. Continue reading

Happy little holiday

Hip Hop Hoo Ray

We may be sleeping in today… after all, that’s what Columbus would have done, hey? Yay. Continue reading

Falling for fashion

There’s a definite crispness to the air in NYC these days. Our team is turning to long-standing face fashion site Need Supply Co. for one or two (or three or four) clean and simple separates that we, well, simply can’t live without. The coated black jean could be the new Regas uniform. It’s either that or the giraffe sweater, but we’re not all ready to stick our necks out on that one (and no, we couldn’t resist). Softley following suit

Claire Softley Collage

One-letter text messages notwithstanding… Continue reading

A post on the post

James. A. Farley Post Office

Not too far south of the Regas Manhattan studio lies the old James A. Farley Post Office. The historical building recently celebrated its centennial, and enters its second hundred years with plans in place to renovate most of its now un-used space for a new entrance to the nearby Penn Station. As mail-makers and lovers, we couldn’t help but be fascinated by this informal tour of the inside (courtesy of Scout NYC). Continue reading

Pain, passion, and fashion

Frida Kahlo Cover

It’s not just warm weather and sunshine calling us down to Mexico City this month. The Frida Kahlo Museum has collaborated with Vogue Mexico to curate an exhibition of the renowned female artist’s closet. Apparently Frida’s wardrobe doors were locked by her on-again, off-again muralist husband upon her death… Continue reading
